Evan joined Lead Edge in 2018 to build out the public investing strategy. He led eight successful investments into public companies within Lead Edge III and IV before launching the Public Fund in 2021.

Evan was previously with ValueAct Capital, a long-only fund that was an early pioneer in utilizing an active private equity-like approach to the public markets. While at ValueAct, Evan was a generalist spending time on technology, aerospace, and financial services sectors.

Evan learned the fundamentals of investing while at Hellman & Friedman, where he served as board observer at Catalina Marketing and Grocery Outlet. He began his career at Bain & Company and holds an A.B. with Honors in Math and Economics from Williams College.
